Onyx TV was a short lived music alternative to German music giant VIVA and the American MTV, which lasted only for five years or so. Onyx delivered more music than the other, so less advertising. After the demise of Onyx TV, the owner created an environmental channel, Terranova, which lasted for 2 years, after getting into insolvency. The music Onyx TV showed was more classic Rock'n'Pop and less hip hop and rap.
