1992
This is the generic ident which features a thousand coloured plastic ones and zeros raining down the screen.

Lifesaver-like perspex shapes tumble onto a white background designed by Lambie-Nairn and Co for Scandinavian movie channel TV1000. Devised by Martin Lambie-Nairn and Daniel Barber, the 15 second ident features bouncing discs made by Asylum Models filmed at 300 frames per second. "It's very clean, very simple" says Barber. "Unusual to the point of unique" says TV1000 Richard Morgan, head of presentation.

TV1000 Ident

A rather too simplistic ident of clouds, looks a bit cheap.

Click for larger image A couple of idents of a series here, featuring the TV1000 logo rising out of the clouds and water..

These idents were graded very cold and blue... very filmic.
