It's 1994 and the start-up sequence for TVE1 features an extravganza of computer graphics. It reminds me of a scene from Toy Story, I think because of the 3D bouncing ball.

1996 brings a much better look and the '1' outline is back. Now various set-ups of different people are used.
All the idents from this period feature the line, 'Somos la primera' which translates as 'we are TVE1'. La Primera is used in Spain to refer to TVE1
TVE Promotion
This promo looks great, promoting TVE's summer schedule. The voiceover asks 'what lengths would you go to catch our summer shows?' which is why the fish is trying to jump out of the bowl to watch the TV. The feet are a boy returning saying 'mum I've finished in the pool' - he's come in to watch the TV too.1996
TVE1's idents for 1998 feature the logo modelled with computer graphics using different textures, including sheet metal, chrome and fabric

TVE1 Ad Filler / Next
A new simplified logo for TVE1 now, with a contemporary live action approach to the graphics. This sequence features the commercial track 'Porcelain' by Moby.
2008
In 2008 RTVE rebranded all of it's services with a new corporate logo. The old logo was not that trendy but it was easily recognisable, the new logo is smart and elegant, but lacks character. The new identity was designed by Summa, who said, "The new corporate identity is based on the concept of light that spreads in all colours of the spectrum. Light symbolises life, energy, warmth, passion and movement. The goal is to be affectionate and friendly and stablish a strong bond with the audience, but also technological and modern."
