Fox Broadcasting Company known as 'Fox' onscreen launched in 1986, to rival the big networks ABC, CBS and NBC. Since its launch it has grown to be one of the highest rated and most popular networks.
20th Century Fox Television is the production arm of the Fox movie studio. Fox Broadcasting is owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, which also owns Sky.

The second cohesive campaign for Fox, which really marked the point where it was becoming a force to be reckoned with. This campaign was adopted by more or less ALL of the Fox affiliates, as well as a standardized logo design. A great, funky tune. Note the reliance on the Simpsons - which was, after all, Fox's first breakout hit.
