BBC East was born in 1959, broadcasting to the Eastern Counties, based at it's studios in Norwich.
Presenters of Look East have included : Christopher Trace (Blue Peter), Ian Masters, Judi Lines, Stewart White (still there), Susan Osman (BBC Points West), Michele Newman (Central News West) and Penny Bustin (BBC Look North).

Monday 29th September 2003 saw the move of BBC Look East to the new "Forum" development in Norwich. Stuart presents the first bulletin from the new building at lunchtime.
