BBC Select1992 / 1993
BBC Select was an overnight subscription service offering programmes of interest to special audiences (nurses, businessmen etc). Some programmes were scrambled Sky-style, others were free to air. At the start of each programme, the ident on the left appeared. Find out what services BBC Select was offering in mid-1993 by watching the promo on the right.

BBC Learning Zone2004 BBC Learning Zone is BBC2's overnight educational strand launched in 1995. Originally marketed as part of BBC2, since 1997 the Learning Zone has been a service in its own right. In 2004 a series of idents based around the four seasons were launched - Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Against a backdrop of the familiar oak tree, the summer version shows teenagers having fun - and cooling off.

Now programmes from BBC Worldwide Americas are presented with a frontcap "BBC America Presents", this was before the launch of the dedicated BBC America channel, (which also adopted the BBC One balloon graphics)
BBC Resources Idents1998 BBC Resources was the commercial arm of the BBC's creative services across the UK including studios, graphic design, post production, audio, costumes and props. These idents were part of a set produced by BBC Resources to promote it's commercial activities to inhouse producers and external production companies. Unfortunately today most of the BBC's in-house creative servies have been closed down.
