 Click for larger image Sally joined BBC South in 1987 and is now South Today's main presenter. She was awarded the MBE in 2005 for her services to regional broadcasting. In 1999 she was forced to take a break from the programme to undergo treatment for breast cancer. She allowed her progress to be followed for a documentary "Facing Cancer" which was produced by BBC South. A brave and special lady who is much loved by viewers in the region.
