"Andy Crane" is Mark Granger, who may or may not be the former child actor who appeared in a 1972 episode of Follyfoot directed by Jack Cardiff. He replaced a presenter called Nicky Brown who wasn't there long at all. Following Granger was Jerry Foulkes, future editor of C4's Right To Reply.

In-vision CITV continuity was axed by Dawn Airey in early 1993, with Steve Ryde instead creating several voice characters for the links, including reporter Gordon Flycamp. Ryde was occasionally seen in costume as Flycamp.

In a reversal of Dawn Airey's policy in-vision links were restored and now presented by amateur magician Stephen Mulhern, and dancer Danielle Nicholls. At this time credit squeezing was introduced to CITV, much to the annoyance of some content producers.
