News and Lookaround started in 1961. This set of titles is typically Sixties with it's jaunty jazzy music and flashing title sequence!
Lookaround1989 Lookaround - with Eric Wallace and Ross Kelly.
Probably the best loved of the Lookaround titles featuring the famous Eagle swooping over the region. Nice touch having the logo on the desk. Ross would later be seen on GMTV.

With the introduction of the '89 Generic Look, Lookaround now started with a giant version of the "Border Chopsticks"

New graphics for Lookaround in 1991, but the music's still there. Quite what a triangle has to do with the Border region is another question.

A complete new look for Lookaroud by 1993. I guess Border liked these titles, they're still being used 8 years later. Either that or Border are trying for the record for longevity of titles.

At last! 2001 saw the introduction of new titles for Border News. Strange then that Lookaround still has the same titles as used in 1993!
