Granada Reports - with Tom McGurk.

On Monday 14 April 1986, Granada Reports was re-launched, complete with a new home in the converted Traffic Office at the Albert Dock in Liverpool. The presenters of the first bulletin were Tony Wilson and Tom McGurk.

The Week in View
1986
When Granada moved their ENG and news presentation to the Albert Dock, as well as introducing the rolling bulletins through the day and revamping Granada Reports, they introduced a hour long programme following the News at One, which was mainly presented by Mark Gorton. The programme was a round up of the best stories of the week as seen on Granada Reports.

The programme always ended with a video package of the weeks highlights accompanied by the above music, which is basically an extended version of the Granada Reports theme.

A very colourful version for the titles, it has the feel of an entertainment programme, rather than news, still at least it's not the traditional blue colour.
