A sci-fi sitcom writen by and staring Robin Driscoll who is probably better known for playing small roles in other comedies. The new town of Middleford is taken over by aliens who are plotting to take other the world.

Vintage Quiz
Fred Dinenage hosted this nostalgia quiz show which formed part of the Afternoon Club strand of programmes. Each programme focused on a particular year. Featuring Lord Montagu of Beaulieu keeping the score, a car from the Beaulieu motor museum in the studio and a terrific opening sequence - filmed at the Beaulieu Estate!

P.O.V. was screened during Monday's 'Late Night Late'. It was basically short programmes interlinked by cutting-edge yoof debate, direct from the corner of a pub.
That's Gardening
Stefan Buczacki presents this 1990 episode of the regional gardening programme. This edition comes from Eastborne. The programme enjoyed a long run on TVS and had various presenters through the years including a certain Debbie Thrower of Meridian Tonight fame.

It's A Dog's Life
Veronica Charlwood and Dennis Skillicorn present a six-part series looking at the world of dogs and dog care. This edition went behind the scenes at the filming of a big Pedigree Chum advert, other programmes looked at behaviour problems and breeds of dogs.
Hodson Confidential
Psychotherapist Phillip Hodson first appeared alongside Jill Cochraine fronting Problem Page which was created to fill some of the airtime left after Afternoon Club ended.
TV Weekly
After TV-am but before joining the BBC, Anne Diamond presented TV weekly. Shown in the afternoon in most ITV regions (with an early evening repeat on TVS) the programme looked behind the scenes of various TV programmes and interviewed various personalities from in front and behind the camera.
Catchphrase
Contestants try to work out well known catchphrases from a series of computer animations. Host Roy Walker had a few Catchphrases of his own such as "If you see it, say it" and "It's good but not right". The programme was so popular that production continued (virtually unaltered) throughout the 90s courtesy of Carlton TV.
