
Pre-launch: Logo competition
Instead of hiring expensive marketeers and branding consultants TSW decided to let viewers design their symbol in a competition. But was the TSW which resulted based on a viewers' design? It would seem not; in the event the logo was designed in-house by Paul Honeywill.

Not since the days of Look Westward did South West viewers have their own local edition of the listings magazine. But this one was different - it served to introduce TSW to the viewers and the people who would be running it. Though not officially on air, TSW had already not endeared itself to many viewers by threatening to axe Gus Honeybun - would they go through with it?
