The company pioneered the Quantel 'Paintbox' which was developed in the 80s and brought digital painting to tv graphic designers all over the world. Something which may seem quite common and simple these days using Photoshop, back then nothing had been invented that was real-time and it revolutionised the way designers worked, and still to this day.
