BBC News 24 Idents1997
BBC News 24 is the corporation's 24 hour domestic rolling news service. It launched on Sunday 9th November 1997. Not many people were able to view the new channel, as it was only available on cable initially. Satellite was next followed by On Digital - the digital terrestrial service.
