In contrast to the BBC, ITV decided to run a familiar schedule albeit with a distinctly millennium feel. This promo, introduced by Trevor McDonald, ITV's face of its millennium coverage, runs down ITV's new year's eve 1999 schedule.
Countdown 20001999 During the evening, ITV provided regular news updates as well as midnight coverage from around the world. Here, Dermot Murnaghan introduces the 10pm bulletin, two hours before midnight GMT.
