BBC Prime is the BBC's entertainment channel available via satellite and cable across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 24 Hours a day. It broadcasts the best entertainment programmes from BBC One and Two, plus bought in programmes which may have appeared on Channel 4, such as Super Nanny.
 
BBC Prime will be replaced by BBC Entertainment soon.

1995 BBC Prime was launched simultaneosly with BBC World on Thursday 26th January 1995 as a result of the splitting of BBC World Service Television.
