1999 Click for larger image Travel Channel was launched in 1994 and broadcasts to countries all over Europe in various languages. In the UK it's available on Sky Digital showing travel related programming from trekking adventures to five-star luxury. Travel Channel also produces and broadcasts commercial half-hour presentations from Thompson TV at various times throughout the day.

By 2002 Travel has been renamed Travel Channel, and there is a new look, with these contemporary looking idents of organic textures.
