TV Asia was Britain's first Asian channel, which time-shared it's airtime on the Sky One and The Comedy Channel Astra satellite analogue transponders. TV Asia was also a subscription channel.
The channel was called TV Asia until 1997, when it ceased transmission on 1st January 1997 and became Zee TV
