BBC Cymru/Wales1987
A nice Celtic Cross was the first ident introduced by BBC Cymru to proceed all it's Welsh language programmes broadcast on S4C.
BBC Cymru produce an average of 12 hours of welsh language programmes a week for S4C. These programmes are funded by the license fee. This obligation is the result of the 1990 Broadcasting Act.

BBC Cymru / BBC Wales1988
Following the Celtic Cross, BBC Cymru introduced this magnificent Dragon. It was also used as the BBC Cymru Wales letterhead at the time.
Sadly BBC Wales no longer use an ident on S4C.

The early 1990's saw a more "traditional" ident from S4C, depicting a piece of Welsh slate with colour blue green and red washing over the letters S4C.

S4/C Ident - Assembley2007 A whole new look was introduced in 2007.
