Sky 2 Pre-Launch Video1996
The Sky Two brand was previously used back in 1996. Sky 2 began broadcasting on 1st September 1996 at 7pm and ceased transmission at 6am on Monday 1st September 1997.

The station launched with an X-Files night with about 6-7hours worth of X Files shows before going onto the Hitmix Longplay which was similar to the Sky One version just with the genres at different hours.1996

On December 9th 2002, Sky One Mix was launched, which later became know as Sky Mix
2005
Sky Two Ident2007 Sky Mix was rebranded Sky Two on Monday 31st October 2005 on Sky Digital channel 107
Stockholm based motion graphics agency Kaktus Film and design agency Amore produced the new look for Sky Two Including new typographic logo, organic animations plus all on air menus/graphics and colour palettes
2008
Sky Two Ident2008 In February 2008, Sky Two was relaunched with the same glossy CGI graphics package as Sky One, except Sky Two is colour branded green.
